The Godfather : Part II (1974)
What happens when two of the greatest actors ever seen on screen team up with a director who knows his job well?It results in pure MAGIC,which is what The Godfather part 2 is if put in a single word.Yes,it is long(3hours,20 minutes),yes,it has a slow pace, but if you really want to know what style is all about, what performance is all about, what screenplay is all about, what direction is all about, then you won't find a better eg. than this.Al Pacino(one of his best performances ever),gives a silent but effective performance as Micheal Corleone, but its Robert De Niro(as the young Vito Corleone) who steals the show:). He performs such a difficult role with such natural ease,as if he was born to do this role. For all the above reasons, this movie is a must watch. If you haven't seen this, you haven't seen anything:).

 The Godfather (1972)

Scent of a Woman (1992)
After being nominated 7 times previously,Al Pacino at last won the much deserved Oscar with his 8th nomination for playing the role of Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade in this movie. Here,a prep school student Charlie Simms(played by Chris O'Donnell) needing money agrees to "babysit" a blind man(Al Pacino), but the job is not at all what he anticipates. Its a movie which will please you and keep you smiling, but primary reason this works is because of Pacino's performance:).

Recent releases

Here are some movies of 2011 that you don't wanna miss:).

X-Men : First Class
A prequel to the original X-Men movies, this movie is truly first class:).It shows the roots of the legendary rivalry between Professor X and Magneto.Playing the role of Charles Xavier,James Mcavoy gives one hell of a performance(his best that i have seen so far) and Michael Fassbender who plays Eric Lehnsherr(who goes on to become Magneto) is a treat to watch as well.First half of this movie makes you glued to your seats, aided by a fantastic script and superb performances, where Charles and Erik round up and train a group of new mutants,to strengthen their side against Shaw(the bad guy of this movie). Second half isn't as good as the first, but the thrilling action sequences make sure the film remains upto the mark. This is one summer blockbuster you don't want to miss:):).

Genre:- Action,Sci-Fi.
Prerequisites:- No need to watch all previous X-men movies, but the viewer must be aware of mutants and the characters of Professor X and magneto to enjoy this movie.
Bore Meter :-No chance of getting bored.Has superb pace:).

Source Code

This movie is a must watch if you liked Inception.Though this isn't as confusing or challenging as the previous,it still is a superbly paced sci-fi thriller which provides you the entertainment you need:).It basically involves Colter Stevens, a US Army helicopter pilot(played by Jake Gylenhall) who wakes up in the body of an unknown man and discovers he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train.A tight script, good performances and fast pace makes this movie worth your watch:).

Harry potter:Deathly Hallows Part 2

The movie all harry potter fans had been waiting for had finally arrived and no,the fans weren't disappointed:). David Yates after making 2 of the worst movies of the franchise(5 and 6),returned with a bang with Deathly hallows part 1,and made sure he kept the flow in this movie as well.In this movie,Harry, Ron, and Hermione continue their quest of finding and destroying the Dark Lord's three remaining Horcruxes, but soon Voldemort finds out about their mission and the biggest battle begins. With roughly 2 hours and 10 minutes, this movie has the pace of a cheetah,if u blink in between u might miss some good action:). Great Pace, some wonderful art design(hogwarts looks amazing) and fabulous performances by Daniel radcliffe and Ralph Fiennes make it a must watch.Only problem is at the end of the day,its just a big battle,so can't expect too much in terms
of story from this one.

Genre :- Action,Adventure,Fantasy
Prerequisites :- Only for Harry Potter Fans.Make sure you watch all the previous harry potter movies before you watch this one.
Bore Meter :- No chance of getting bored.Really fast pace:).

The Lincoln Lawyer
This solid courtroom thriller is adapted from Michael Connelly's bestselling book.In this movie,Mick Haller(played well by Matthew McConaughey) is a defense lawyer who works out of his Lincoln. When a wealthy Realtor is accused of raping a prostitute, Haller is asked to defend him. The man claims that the woman is trying to get some money out of him. But when Haller looks at the evidence against him, he learns that this case might be linked to an old case of his. This movie basically works due its tight script packed with enough twists and turns:).

Bore Meter :- Won't Get bored.Has Decent Pace:).
My Rating :-

Fast Five
If you are a action freak then this is just the movie for you:).'Fast Five', the fifth installment in the franchise that began with 2001's 'The Fast and the Furious', brings back its original stars Vin Diesel as fearless car-thief Dom Toretto, and Paul Walker as cop-gone-rogue Brian O'Conner. But the action's moved to Rio de Janiero, where our heroes assemble a team of their former associates to bring down the city's most corrupt businessman, while also trying to escape from a rough FBI agent played by Dwayne Johnson. This movie has some amazing action scenes to boast of,starting, from the theft of three custom-made sports cars from a moving train(simply amazing action scene), and a highly entertaining climatic heist in which Dom and Brian drive their muscle-cars through the streets of Rio dragging a massive vault that crashes and destroys everything in its way(u need to see it to believe it). Yes,it does slow down a bit in between when the team sits and plans how to go about the heist. But this movie is still pretty good overall:).

Genre :- Action, Thriller.
Bore Meter :- Does lose its pace in between, but is still pacy enough not to bore you.
